Residency at Plaatsmaken Arnhem 2022-2023. Some of the results were shown at Rozet, and later that year in a duo exhibition with Derk Müller in Plaatsmaken, Extra Layer.
In screen printing, the photo-emulsion is used to create a template on the screen, this is the image you will print. This important facet of the screen print technique is isolated and put into the spotlight. It is shown as the work in stead of part of a printing technique. Photo-emulsion comes in different colours and every workshop has its own specially chosen brand and number.
In this series I gathered the different emulsions from the workshops I have printed at. I also got offered a few extra from colleguescreen printers. The different colours are the variety of the emulsions.

Screen print tape recordings [work]

Quinten Dierick and I form a band, Salon Brut. Together we created this sound experiment. This tape contains screen print sound recordings, Ward van Bemmel was so kind to lend us his sounds mixed with fieldrecordings. I screen printed on top of the recordings with result a enjoyable sound experiment.
